Level 2 Course Description

27.0 CE credits for General and Adjuster licences

Advance your career. Prepare for the Alberta Insurance Council (AIC) Level 2 exam or obtain study material for the AIC Adjuster exam with IBAA's newly designed course and textbook:
  • Personal and Commercial Property: principles, statutory conditions, policies, coverage, exclusions, forms, endorsements, and floaters
  • Personal and Commercial Automobile: principles and statutory conditions for automobile insurance, along with the SAF, SPFs, and SEFs policy, forms, and endorsements
  • Personal and Commercial Liability: principles of liability and tort in Canadian law and liability insurance coverage, limitations, exclusions, and statutory conditions in habitational and commercial policies and forms
  • Farm: property and liability, policies, coverage, exclusions, floaters, riders
  • Marine: ocean and inland marine policies, coverage, and exclusions
  • Aviation: coverage, liability, exclusions
  • Accident and Sickness: types of policies
  • Travel: common coverage and exclusions, and optional coverage
  • Surety: definitions, classes, and types of surety
  • Insurance industry, associations, companies, regulations, sales, service, professionalism, and management

Online Course Pledge

We stand behind these courses and offer free retakes within a year from the initial course's start date. Should an online course not be convenient or available, students can register for only $100 (the difference in course price) in one of our immersion courses. Exams

IBAA provides insurance courses and study material. Register for the exam with Alberta Insurance Council: 780-421-4148 / 403-233-2929. If you don't have a CIPR number (you'll need it to register for the AIC's exam), obtain it from the Canadian Insurance Participant Registry (www.cipr.ca).
