CAIB 1–4 Course Descriptions

The CAIB program has no prerequisites and is itself a prerequisite for Canadian Professional Insurance Broker (CPIB) and IBAA's BBA and MBA. CAIB is not a prerequisite for CCIB but certainly helps with the exams.

New Exam Registration Process

Course and exam registrations are now entirely independent in the designation programs. We strongly recommend taking our full CAIB course before its exam, but course registration is no longer required for exam registration.

All exam registrations are pending approval from the IBAA.
