With personal-lines policies typically issued as bundled packages, many clients may be under-insured or not properly covered. For example, a standard policy excludes home-sharing exposures, yet home-sharing programs are increasing in popularity. Large judgments in liability lawsuits may exceed policy limits, and high-value property may be under-insured. Identity theft and cyber crime are on the rise as we increasingly integrate technology into our private lives. Review the standard policies and various types of additional coverage that can meet these exposures and protect your clients.
