Licensing Level 1 Self-Study Course Description

30.0 CE credits for General and Adjuster licences

Prepare for the Alberta Insurance Council (AIC) Level 1 General exam, or obtain study material for the AIC Adjuster exam with this introductory Licensing course.

The course textbook (Fundamentals of Insurance, shipped with all registrations) includes Alberta-specific materials and up-to-date licensing requirements. This course will grant eligibility to book and write your AIC exam.

  • Types of insurance and application requirements
  • SPF #1 (Standard Automobile Policy Form, owner's form) and other SPFs
  • SEFs (Standard Endorsement Forms) and statutory conditions

Accident and Sickness
