CAIB 2 Fast Track

  • 4 full-day Saturday classes just before one of the scheduled exam dates

Develop your knowledge of commercial insurance on Saturdays: appeals to those who would like the help of a facilitator and need to get the study done quickly without taking a week off work.

A minimum of 75% class attendance or 50% exam grade fulfills the CE requirement.

CAIB 1–4 Program Objectives

  • Apply your technical knowledge to practical situations
  • Enhance your business competency
  • Develop your marketing skills
  • Strengthen your professional skills and ability
  • Maximize your potential for management positions
  • Take all 4 courses to earn your designation, or take individual courses to sharpen your professionalism in a particular area

CAIB 2: Commercial Insurance

16 CE credits for General and Adjuster licences

  • Introduction to commercial property insurance
  • Underwriting commercial property insurance
  • Commercial property—Policy forms
  • Commercial property—Additional coverage forms
  • Commercial property—Miscellaneous property forms
  • Crime insurance
  • Business interruption insurance


Please note that you will also need to register online for your CAIB exam, with an additional cost of $400 ($500 non-members). Why not do both now? (Exam registration closes one month before the exam.) The first available exam date following your course is October 23, when the course material should be fresh in your mind, but you can choose any available date.
