Help Fix the Auto Insurance Crisis—Take 2 Minutes to Send Your MLAs This Letter

Did you notice that auto insurance is a losing proposition in Alberta and is jeopardizing broker relations with insurance companies?

We need to send multiple letters advocating an increase in the cap and a decrease in prejudgment interest and term to every MLA in Alberta to fix this problem.

Send the letter linked below to both the MLA for your residence and for your office. With over 5,000 insurance brokerage principals, managers, and employees living and working in every constituency in Alberta, we have a strong voice if we work together—if all of us, no matter our rank in our brokerages, speak out!

Previewing & Sending the Letter
All MLAs (government and opposition) need to receive this letter from as many folks as possible. Click the link above. When it opens, click the Preview link to see what is in the letter. Then close the preview and simply put in your postal code and other information. Do the same for your office and residence. If you would like confirmation that your letter was sent, remember to fill out the email address field.

If you experience any problems with the above process, please make sure you clear your cache on a Chrome or Firefox browser and enter https://www.pushpolitics.ca/clients/ibaa/ for the URL.

Please pass this link on to all of your staff and have them do the same. Our insurer partners, our consumers, and all of us as brokers need your support!

You need not agree with the MLA's political persuasion. This letter will go to the constituency office, not to the political party, so you will not end up on the party's mailing list.

If you have any other questions or problems with the letter or its results, please let George Hodgson know by email (ghodgson@ibaa.ca).
