IBAC - Carriers & BMS Vendors Must Increase Broker Digital Relevance within the Next 2-3 Years

Underlying all its messages, IBAC's position is that brokers serve the best interests of consumers, must be the primary conduit for their consumers in the growing digital marketplace, and should receive the technological support needed within the next 2–3 years in order to remain competitive and continue to uphold the broker-channel principles.


IBAC promotes the Data Exchange Principles and CSIO Standards as the optimal model, supports technology developed and supported by broker associations, and calls for improvements in the technology pathways of insurance carriers and BMS vendors.
