Catastrophic Losses

When catastrophic losses hit Albertans, IBAA and member brokers are out in the community offering whatever help they can—donating and distributing needed supplies, cleaning up, helping those with claims, fundraising, and disseminating updates to the public. Links to government sources, pamphlets, articles, and studies in the Resources section of this IBAA website also provide information about what to do after a disaster and how to prepare for disasters in order to reduce potential future loss.

We were there to help those hit by the 2016 Fort McMurray wildfire, the 2013 Southern Alberta flood, and the 2011 Slave Lake wildfire.
