IBAA Education Policies: Missing Classes

Students are required to attend class. No refund or transfer for missed classes will be permitted without acceptable reasons (listed below). Documentation may be required.
  • Incapacitating illness (doctor’s note or medical statement);
     
  • Personal affliction, car accident, or other serious affliction (doctor’s note, medical statement, declaration form, accident report, death certificate, funeral program, or other documents as needed);
     
  • A natural or man-made disaster (student’s statement supported by the existence of a proximate natural or man-made disaster).
Regardless of the reasons for missing class, CE Credit Policy will apply.

Series with Discount Pricing

If for one of the acceptable reasons above, a student misses one module, a refund or re-registration for the module (subject to course availability) will be issued at the original discount rate.

If the reason for missing the class is not acceptable, no refund will be issued and re-registration will be at the full cost for the individual module.
