Advocacy

IBAA was founded to advocate on behalf of insurance brokers and consumers by developing relationships with government and industry stakeholders. We regularly contribute to discussions and policy related to auto, property, and liability insurance, as well as technology, legislation, regulation, and the socio-economic contributions of brokers in local communities across the province and country. We collaborate with regulators, industry partners, and the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada in order to ensure broker and consumer voices are heard where and when it matters most.

IBAA regularly reports on issues related to auto, property, and liability insurance, as well as to technology, legislation, regulation, and the socio-economic contributions of brokers in local communities, Alberta, and Canada.
