  • Elements of risk (terms and examples, intuition, uncertainty, probability, statistics, risk mitigation options and responses, positive and negative risks, and insurance
  • Assessment of business risk and its management in relation to the business's strategic and operational objectives and the internal and external environment
  • Risk management today: business interdependence, banking, the workforce, corporate governance, Enterprise Risk Management, standards and frameworks, and policies and procedures
  • Risk management process (identification, assessment, evaluation, implementation, monitoring and review, and learning by experience), board responsibility, and challenges
